Our first addition was an area for electronics and computing (including our own admin). Several members will happily share skills in these fields. If you want to learn basic skills we can get you browsing the web and using email, and can help with more complex matters too. But expect plenty of tea breaks (we love tea breaks).
The next step was the metalwork shed.
We converted a container into a lined shed housing metalworking, milling and welding gear. This was completed in the autumn of 2018. Again, we have several members with skills in these disciplines who will encourage and help you learn.
During 2020 the Art shed was built at the far end of our premises, away from the machine shops, and provides a calm haven for painting, model-building and the like. You will find some impressive artwork on the walls - and of course, the artists will always welcome and share their expertise with you.
